Many of you have probably come across the term “sales readiness.” If you follow investment news, the sales readiness space has taken sales enablement by storm over the last few years. With that in mind, it’s worth asking, why are so many global, high-growth enterprises increasingly turning to sales readiness and migrating away from an LMS or traditional sales enablement solutions?

For starters, Gartner finds that sales representatives forget 70% of information within a week of training and 87% of information within a month of training, on average. What’s more, nearly a quarter of organisations say onboarding new hires is one of their top three sales challenges. In other words, onboarding is one-off training, while everboarding is continuous, ongoing training. With everboarding, sellers are ready and prepared to have impactful, productive interactions with prospects and customers. Here are five key components to enable your team to be sales-ready:

1. Take one step at a time: incremental, customised skills training and knowledge retention

You’re probably familiar with onboarding and ramping up sales reps and other employees, whether through HR or L&D or enablement programs. Janison enhances education delivery experience with Go1 partnership

Workplace laws and legislation in Australia and New Zealand are complex, but that’s not an excuse for a lack of compliance. Especially when the costs of non-compliance are factored into your bottom line.

Changes to the Australian Fair Work Amendment (Protecting Vulnerable Workers) Act 2017 mean that employers involved in serious contraventions of the Act / Amendment could face penalties of up to A$630,000 per contravention. The maximum penalty for individuals is now A$126,000 per contravention.

Additionally, employers in Australia can be fined up to A$63,000 for failing to keep employee records. Individuals (such as directors, managers and others found to be “accessories”) can also be personally fined up to A$12,600 for knowingly making or keeping false or misleading employee records.

New Zealand’s Employment Relations Act includes financial penalties that are now set at up to NZ$50,000 per breach  by an individual and up to NZ$100,000 per breach by a company or body corporate. There are also other sanctions such  as “banning orders” which can go so far as to prohibit people in breach from becoming employers.

Go1 is pleased to announce our partnership with intelliHR, an Australian HR people management platform. This partnership will bring together two of Australia’s fastest-growing technology companies to provide an integrated HR solution for global workforces. 

intelliHR is an analytics-first software-as-a-service platform with local and international customers, recently expanding into ten countries. They work alongside an array of clients to maintain a real-time handle on performance, create workplace culture aligned with business strategy, and enable decision-making with data-driven insights.

The partnership will see intelliHR customers able to access Go1's online courses, enabling a seamless learning and development flow between the two platforms. Go1’s elearning and platform will complement intelliHR’s people management tools, and allow intelliHR’s clients to easily access Go1.com for induction, compliance and professional development learning purposes through the Go1 portal to provide a greater engagement with the workforce.

intelliHR's Founder and Director Rob Bromage, recently explained the integration, “as intelliHR's people management tools help customers identify individual skill gaps, users can then be immediately linked to one of Go1's online training courses.”

 “Conversely, the integration allows intelliHR customers to capture completed Go1 training details giving them piece of mind that the intelliHR platform provides a 'single point of truth' of all HR records for customers.”
